Coach Damian Lowery

Coach Lowery had his beginning at Long Beach Poly playing running back and running track under the great Don Norford (http://nfldraft.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=538520). Norford is arguably one of the greatest position coaches in the country. He has previously been named ESPN’S Coach of the Year and is responsible for 80% of Poly athletes making it into the National Football League. Upon graduating from Long Beach Poly, Lowery attended LA Harbor College where he learned to play receiver from Coach Charlie Collins (http://www.phenomfactory.com/aboutpf.html), one of the best receivers coaches in the country. Coach Collins has trained players like Chad (Johnson) Ochocinco of the Cincinnati Bengals, Steve Smith of the Carolina Panthers, and many more. After LA Harbor, Lowery earned a scholarship to Oregon State University. Lowery then returned to Long Beach Poly to coach under Coach Norford. His next stop was with Long Beach Wilson where he served as the varsity running backs coach and jump started their recruiting era. At Wilson, Lowery coached the number one rusher in the Moore League 3 out of 4 years. He was voted best running backs coach in C.I.F SS in California. Lowery was instrumental in helping players, such as Brian Paysinger, Darby Golden, Kyle Kazarian, Tyler Pistiosa, Dion Myers, and Howard Croom earn college scholarships.

In 2004, Coach Lowery began working with Nike Football Camps. He traveled with NIKE training and worked with some of the best talent in the nation. Five years later, Coach Lowery became a finalist for the Houston Texans' assistant running backs coach position. Today, Coach Lowery is dedicated to providing Student-Athletes with tools that will help them reach their dreams and succeed in life.

Coach Scoey Peters

I have worked with children for 8 straight years; from youth football and track to high school football and track… I have given back what my mentors and coaches have given to me-lifetime skills and guidance. I love coaching and watching young people build confidence, seeing them fail, then helping them succeed.  I have done it all in the spirit of helping young people in my community-needing them as much as they need me.

I was coached by world famous Don Norford and Mark Robinson at Long Beach Poly and was awarded a 1993 Athletic Scholarship to Montana State Univ. and though I had only been at Poly for two and a half years. Things did not work out at Montana State University because of personal reasons, then I was apart of a 1995 JC National Football Championships (LBCC) preceding a 1996 State Track and Field Championships (LBCC)-I coached on a 2003 Youth National Champions (LB Sprinters). Now I have committed the rest of my life to sharing my experiences and expertise to young student athletes.
